As the fall and winter season looms most fear cold season. Me? I fear the epic misuse of over-the-knee boots. I recall the unfortunate onset of baby cardigans clear as day, and jeggings still haunt me as I shield my eyes in horror at local malls. These are fashion crimes and they are very real. But as a wise cartoon once said, "Knowing is half the battle." Thus I fall to my civic duty to document, report, and reprimand.

Sports Fan Fashion Faux Pas
Attached is a photo of a sports team supporting young lady innocently riding public transportation to what looks like basketball practice? But pointed out to me by a friend -unbeknownst to me- is that "thou shall not mix and match team clothing" in one ensemble. Hence, go all the way and support one team at a time, rather than risking Rainbow Brite effects with your multiple team patronage. Personally I don't think people should wear jerseys ever unless they are actually participating in the sport...but I am definitely outnumbered in my opinion.

Biking + Short Floral Skirt = Bad Idea
Spotted on my way to work in the bike lane:
Girl wearing short floral skirt while wildly weaving lanes to get to work on time. Her poor signaling was a large distraction, but more so the fact she had nothing to cover up under her skirt.
Not a good look, and not traffic friendly. Sorry I don't have a photo, but I don't snapshot while driving.

The Age Old Crime: Dressing Beyond Age Boundaries
On a quick lunchtime jaunt I was on the search for a specific gauzy item. Spotted in the BCBG boutique of Macy's was this. Oh honey. My first reaction was wanting to give her my stylist's card, as that blonde needs some work. Then the spray tan. And then the Juicy Couture terry cloth dress. It's as if she was trying to channel Britney Spears...who herself doesn't always do well with the look...and is a good twenty years younger.
